To promote uniformity and allow each student to learn without distractions or bias, the school has stipulated the following policies for students’ dressing.
School Uniforms
Junior School
Students at REFINERS SCHOOLS (JUNIOR SCHOOL) are expected to wear the complete School Uniform (tie inclusive) and always appear clean and tidy, wearing white socks on black leather shoes that are clean and are in good repair. (The use of Trainers or Canvas shoes on uniform will NOT be allowed in school).
Students are expected to come to school wearing Refiners schools’ sportswear on Fridays and on the days, their respective classes will be having physical and health education (P.E.). Trainers can be worn with the sportswear.
Leggings or knee-high black socks are allowed only on Fridays and any other day for physical and health education.
Students may wear comfortable footwear in the case of foot injury (no flip flops).
Senior School
Students at REFINERS SCHOOLS (SENIOR SCHOOL) are expected to wear the complete School Uniform (tie inclusive) and always appear clean and tidy, wearing BLACK socks on black leather shoes that are clean and are in good repair. (The use of Trainers or Canvas shoes on uniform will NOT be allowed in school).
Students are expected to come to school wearing Refiners schools’ sportswear on Fridays and on the days, their respective classes will be having physical and health education (P.H.E.). Trainers can be worn with the sportswear.
Leggings or knee-high black socks are allowed only on Fridays and any other day for physical and health education.
Students may wear comfortable footwear in the case of foot injury (no flip flops).
Hair-Styles and Accessories
Girls are expected to appear with neatly and properly woven hair with no attachments/beads.
Female pupils are to adhere to the fortnightly recommended hairstyles (simple woven hairstyle with no extensions, attachments, or beads) or remain on low cut.
Boys should appear in school neatly, and properly dressed having well shaved and groomed haircut. (Simple low cut). No parting or designs are allowed, and the haircut must be maintained all through the term.
Make up, nail varnish, and excessive jewelleries are not allowed to be worn by the students. However, students can wear stud earrings only. However, wrist watches can be worn.
The use of attachments or coloured hair is always prohibited within the school premises.
